Unit Name: Course Overview
Our nationally accredited course is designed for people who are intending to work as a Rigger in the building and construction industry. We have purpose built customised training facilities on site.
Participants will undergo training in:
- Current Legislation and Requirements
- Hazard Identification and Control Measurements
- Selection and inspection of lifting gear
- Preparing site/equipment, movement of equipment
- Steel erections and hoists
- Placement of pre-cast concrete, safety nets, static lines, perimeter safety screens/shutters
- Cantilever crane loading platforms

Prior to enrolling in this unit, participants are required to provide a copy of their Statement of Attainment for CPCCLDG3001A / Licence to perform Dogging
- Two forms of photographic ID
- Appropriate protective clothing and footwear (No thongs or singlets)
- Hi-vis gear and hard hats are provided if required
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued with:
- Statement of Attainment
- Notice of Assessment (interim license)
