Established in 1997 by a husband and wife team, Nara Training and Assessing has grown into a highly regarded training organisation in Western Australia.
In 2010, Nara Training and Assessing became a part of the training and employment provider, Skill Hire, and remains focused predominantly on accredited work-site training. Our qualified trainers deliver training in accordance with national units of competency. The Nara team is chosen for their specific skills and abilities, and work hard to be providers of quality training, assessing and reliable customer service.
Put simply, our vision is to see Nara Training & Assessing as the industry leading provider for training in mining, construction and transport throughout Western Australia.
We work to achieve this by training and assessing individuals of the future to the highest calibre, allowing them to become specialists in their fields of engagement. By ensuring that each individual has maximum exposure and understanding of the skills they require to become dedicated to their area of expertise.
All high risk courses delivered by Nara are delivered in our high quality facilities in the South West of WA, the Perth Metro area and now, Victoria.
When training at our facilities isn’t an option, we now work to provide on-site training throughout Western Australia, meaning that your team can receive the quality training needed to perform their duties safely, but it also means that there’s minimal lost time from site.
Our team is committed to quality and undertakes steps to continuous improvement, as such Nara Training and Assessing is well versed in delivering the most up to date and accurate training and assessment methods.
We understand the importance of our team in the successful delivery of quality training. As such, we require our trainers and assessors to have a minimum of 10 years work experience in their fields of expertise,
All Nara trainers and assessors are WorkSafe accredited, are industry/subject matter experts and, on average, hold roughly 15 years experience in their respective industry.

Nara Training & Assessing is an approved Jobs & Skills Provider.
A range of training options and courses are available and subsidised under Jobs and Skills WA. Priority training areas include apprenticeships, eligible traineeships, and priority industry qualifications. Many other important industry qualifications are also subsidised under Jobs and Skills WA, including pre-apprenticeships, general industry training courses, and foundation and equity courses.
