Entry requirements

Prior to enrolling in this course, participants are required to have a strong understanding of written and spoken English.  They must also hold a qualification or high-risk work license (HRWL) for the equipment or machinery being assessed on.

Course Overview

Refresher training or as it’s called in industry – a Verification of Competency, is a way to ensure a worker’s ability to operate equipment or perform certain tasks is current with industry standards.

Nara by Skill Hire uses qualified WorkSafe assessors to conduct VOC’s in the following areas:

  • Dogging
  • Rigging
  • Scaffolding
  • Cranes
  • Forklift
  • Elevated Work Platform
  • Earth Moving machine operation

What to bring/wear:

  • Two forms of photographic ID 
  • Appropriate protective clothing and footwear (no thongs/singlets)
  • Hi-vis gear and hard hats provided if required
