This unit of competency supports the needs of site supervisors and builders with a responsibility for supervising tilt-up work on site. Entry Requirements
There are no formal pre-requisites for this unit however all participants must meet the following:
- Must hold a Statement of Attainment for CPCCCM1016A Identify the requirements for safe tilt-up work
- Must have the required work experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in the construction industry
- Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in tilt up construction
- Complete the pre-enrolment survey detailing the required experience
- Have a good understanding of written and spoken English
- Must hold a White Card (or equivalent)

Course Delivery and Assessment Information
This course will be delivered face-to-face by one of our experienced trainers.
Assessment methods vary depending on the delivery method chosen, and include a combination of
- Written theory questions
- Practical demonstration
- Completion of a portfolio of workplace documentation and other supporting evidence
What to Bring
All participants attending this training at Nara’s premises are required to bring

- Appropriate safety clothing (no singlets and thongs)
- Enclosed footwear
- White Card
- Two forms of ID with at least one being photographic
- A sense of humour
- Willingness to participate
Nara staff will provide hard hats and other PPE including a hi-vis vest. If you have your own PPE you are welcome to bring them along however this is not necessary.
