Expanding Training Opportunities in WA
Nara Training and Assessing’s (Nara) new training facility in Welshpool now offers nationally accredited forklift training, meeting the growing demand in the Western Australian market.
The purpose-built facility, designed by Nara as part of the IntoWork Group, delivers industry-leading training in a modern, dedicated environment.
Increased Capacity and Accessibility
The forklift training course at Welshpool has boosted Nara’s capacity, previously limited to its Forrestfield location. This expansion allows Nara to:
- Meet the increasing demand for forklift training
- Provide a dedicated space for various industry training programs
- Improve accessibility for businesses and workers in WA’s transport and logistics hub
Leadership Welcomes the Launch
Ryan Piggott, Head of Education and Training at Nara, said:

Industry-essential courses, including our forklift ticket, will now be delivered from our Welshpool campus, making training more accessible than ever for businesses and workers in the area.”
First Training Session a Success
The first forklift training session at Welshpool was completed last week with experienced trainer Raymond Psaila. The session was fully booked, and forklift training will now:
- Run weekly from the Welshpool facility
- Offer additional opportunities at both Perth campuses as needed
Nationally accredited forklift training also continues at Nara’s original Bunbury facility, which expanded to a second building last year due to ongoing demand.
