We are excited to announce the new Fire Training courses available in Perth and Bunbury from April 2022! The course content adheres to Australian standards and safety regulations. These courses are specifically designed to ensure that the participants are able to ascertain the extent of workplace emergencies and respond promptly using the specific workplace emergency response procedures.
Chief Fire Warden Training – Half Day
Participants will undergo training in:
- Chief Warden training associated with methods of raising the alarm, safety procedures, bomb threat response, communication during emergencies and briefing the emergency services.
- Training to develop understanding about Duties & Responsibilities of Chief Fire Wardens, Emergency planning committee, Emergency control organisation and provide practical incident control and Chief Fire Warden scenarios along with post evacuation management.
Fire Warden Training – Half Day
Participants will undergo training in:
- Chief Warden and Fire Warden’s roles and responsibilities
- Possible emergency scenarios and evacuation procedures, Methods of raising the alarm, Bomb threat response
- Communication during emergencies
- WHS requirements
Fire Extinguisher Training – Half Day
Participants will undergo training in:
- Preparing for site specific fires, report fire, follow evacuation procedures, operation and application of first attack.
- Duties of the Emergency control, training to develop safe working practices, identification of First Attack Fire Fighting equipment.
Combined Fire Extinguisher & Fire Warden Training – 1 Day
Participants will undergo training in:
- Preparing for site specific fires, report a fire, identifying, operation and application of First Attack Fire Fighting equipment
- WHS Requirements and safe working practices and communication during emergencies
