Scaffolding & Working at Heights Course overview:
Our nationally accredited course provides participants with the theory and practical skills needed for Basic Scaffolding and working safely at heights. It is a 5 day course for the full training and assessment of this course, but we are able to look at recognition of prior learning for people who have interstate HighRisk licences or have let there previous HighRisk licence expire. We have purpose built customised training facilities onsite to train in:
- Current legislation and requirements
- Hazard identifications & risk management
- Preparing, erecting, maintaining and dismantling prefabricated scaffolding
- Cantilevered materials hoist, ropes and gin wheels
- Safety nets and static lines and bracket scaffolds
- Correctly accessing, installing and using fall protection equipment
Upon successful completion of this High Risk course you will receive your Statement of Attainment and Notice of Assessment (interim licence). Your HighRisk card will be sent directly from WorkSafe once your application has been processed. This can take up to 6 weeks.
