Joe ReitherChief Executive Officer |
Joe's dream of establishing a high quality training organisation based in the South West has become a reality, through the development and growth of NARA Training and Assessing. Joe and Kaye Reither established the company in 1996 with strong values of honesty and integrity; providing a valuable and essential service to companies in the construction, resources, transport, fishing and logging sectors based in regional Western Australia. Joe has had over 33 years of experience in several industries, working both at a hands-on and business level in varying roles, including establishing his own highly successful courier business in Geraldton before re-locating to Bunbury. Joe's significant industry experience and knowledge has shaped his excellent training and consulting skills, providing a high standard of delivery and assessment throughout each course level. As Director, Joe also manages the strategic direction of the company and is pro-active in seeking out opportunities for growth and development. Recently Joe facilitated the development of a partnership with B & J Catalano to establish load-shifting training courses, as well as developing partnerships with several industry employees in the Joe looks forward to the continued growth of Nara Training & Assessing and to building a company renowned for its dedication to consistent and high quality training, assessing and auditing services. In his time away from the business, Joe enjoys the lifestyle in the South West as a keen fisherman, diver and surfer. |

Kaye ReitherCorporate Manager |
Anyone who visits the Nara office would know that it would fall apart without Kaye. She keeps an eye on everything from finances and accounting to staff and training timetables, and doesn't miss a beat. Kaye, together with her husband Joe, established Nara Training and Assessing in 1996 and has been integral in taking the business from a small home operation to the well-oiled machine that The rapidly growing business then led Kaye to expand her knowledge into the finance and accounting field, completing a Certificate III in Business Studies in 1997 at the South West Regional College of TAFE. Currently, she manages a staff base of up to ten training consultants as well as several administration support personnel. With the assistance of the administration staff, she keeps track of all course materials and completion certificates, marketing and advertising of the business, and all communications and documentation within the office. Kaye is committed to the continued growth of Nara, assisting Joe in the strategic functions of outlining future growth areas and partnership opportunities. On weekends, look out for Kaye in the great outdoors enjoying a round of golf or a diving expedition off the coast. |

Greg BakerTraining Consultant |
Greg Baker, Training Consultant, has been working with Nara Training & Assessing since the business commenced operating in 1997. Greg began on a part-time basis and advanced to a full-time position in 2006 after increased demand on the company's training services. Greg's role as a Training Consultant involves the training and assessment of participants in a variety of training courses. He also carries out worksite audits or inspections, writes up reports of recommendations and prepares hazard management documents. Greg has been involved with training within the Occupational Health & Safety, Forestry, Construction and Transport industries for over twenty years, finding a natural ability in both on and off the job training situations. Greg has extensive practical work experience and has worked as a Worksafe Inspector for ten years, is an advanced rigger and scaffolder, a registered builder and carpenter and a nationally accredited assessor. This practical work experience is reinforced by sound theoretical study, including a Diploma of Building and a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety. Throughout his career, Greg has developed and implement numerous training manuals and was instrumental in the development of traineeships at Brooke's Transport as well as other organisation's. |

Marie McAuleyQuality Coordinator |
Since joining NaraTraining & Assessing in 2003 Marie has played a significant role in the company's growth over the last few years. She is highly skilled in Quality Assurance; the Australian Quality Training Framework; Frontline Management; Training and Assessment; Tender Preparation and the compilation of various training and assessment materials. Marie's career history spans some 20 years, from managing a department within TAFE to running her own consultancy business, as well as fulfilling contracts with the Department of Education and Training. Her extensive industry experience is accompanied by her formal qualifications, holding a Bachelor of Education, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Training and Assessment, and a Diploma of Business (Frontline Management). Marie lights up the Nara office with her bubbly personality and positive outlook on life. Her industry experience and career success ensures she is an excellent communicator; with strong values of honesty, integrity and versatility. She believes there is nothing quite like the feeling of facilitating trainees through a training program from start to finish; thriving on the positive feedback she often receives from both present and past students. She's a passionate individual; dedicated to providing consistent and high quality training, assessing and auditing services to all clients and individuals alike. |

Adrian HaydenAdministration Manager |
Adrian joined the Nara Training & Assessing team in early 2009 to coordinate and support with the ever growing administration needs of the business. With a wealth of experience in customer service, training, finance management combined with and IT background, Adrian hit the ground running. Adrian's easygoing friendly approach to his position has reinforced the reputation that Nara Training & Assessing is a welcoming friendly and professional company to deal with. |

Jodie McCaghTraineeship Coordinator |
Jodie has been with Nara Training & Assessing since 2004 in her position as part of the Administration Support team. Jodie comes from a solid background in administration and accounting, having spent some ten years in such positions across varying industries. Within the Nara office, Jodie provides valuable support to the training consultants, assisting in administration and data entry functions. With such an extensive background in administration and finance, Jodie brings the essential qualities of reliability and versatility to her important role. She also possesses exceptional time management and communication skills; enjoying the varying challenges and diverse industries each new day at Nara brings. Jodie helps to keep the office running like clockwork and enjoys the flexible and positive workplace environment at Nara and looks forward to a long and prosperous future within the rapidly expanding training and assessing industry. |

Tobi WelshAdministration Officer |
Since Tobi commenced working for Nara Training & Assessing as an Administration Assistant in March 2008, Tobi has immediately become an part of the Nara team. After leaving school in 2005, Tobi worked for the Department of Environment & Conservation as an Administration Assistant. In this position, Tobi undertook a wide variety of Administration tasks and gained excellent experience and skills. Tobi then changed roles and worked as a Resource Assistant where she assessed Dieback and created maps on vegetation, roads, wetlands and water courses. Tobi's work experience has equipped her to be very efficient and she completes all her tasks to a high standard. Tobis has complited a Certificate III in Business which compliments her existing work skills and experiences. Tobi is a keen hockey player and has been playing for 11 years. Tobi also enjoys playing Indoor Beach Volleyball and sandboarding in summer. |
